Check out Slimkicker.com, it is a wonderful site!   The site provides you with a way to track your calories and turn your weight loss and fitness goals into a level-up game with rewards.  You rack up points by tracking healthy calories, and completing challenges such as quitting soda for a week. You can upload a picture of a reward you would like, such as a cheat food (like one of my brownies), or an iPod that you have been wanting to buy, and they’ll remind you to reward yourself with that reward as you reach a certain number of points. 

There are challenges, forums and groups along with resources such as blogs, nutrition & fitness, calorie database, wellness,  and diet psychology.  And let’s not forget all the recipes and diets such as the  DukanDiet  and Weight Watchers.

  1. I have this affliction with salty snacks that makes my hand perform a repetition of bag to mouth motions. My solution is 100 calorie snack bags. A kitchen scale could help with other portion problems. Pick me!

  2. My challenge idea is to slow down while you exercise. Lots of people just rush thru their workout without actually focusing and concentrating on the movements.

  3. A junk-free kitchen! If it isn’t there, you can’t eat it! We are trying this at home at the moment. I have enlisted the help of my fabulous fiance to rid the kitchen of things that could tempt me into tipping my nutritional stats into the danger zone each day.Three days in and we’re doing well! Getting rid of excess processed snacks has made room for upping the intake of fruit for breakfast and veg at lunch and dinner – however a set of kitchen scales would come in handy for making sure our portions of the healthy stuff aren’t too big!
